Campus Consortium Reporting Fellow (2025),
Freelance Contributor
As the 2025 University of Wisconsin Campus Consortium Reporting Fellow, I reported a project, titled “From the Ground Up,” focused on Austria’s growing nursing shortage and how the Filipino community is helping fill critical gaps. Over four weeks in Vienna, I explored grassroots support networks that are reshaping integration and offering a model for sustainable, people-centered care. My final story was selected from over 800 pieces as one of the Pulitzer Center 2025 stories of the year.
I have also contributed profiles of journalists whose work has been supported by Pulitzer Center funding.
